From Thursday, April 27, through Sunday, April 30, the 12th edition of Latin Wave: New Films from Latin America screens at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. The festival features 10 films reflecting the vibrant cinema scene throughout Latin America and welcomes special guests Yanillys Pérez, director of Jeffrey, Iván Gaona, writer and director of Guilty Men, and Carlos Lechuga, writer and director of Santa & Andrés. In addition to the screenings, guests can enjoy a special Happy Hour Thursday on the opening night and a “Meet the Filmmakers” brunch on Saturday, April 29.
