Latino Art Now! (LAN!), a signature event of the Inter-University for Latino Research (IUIPLR) consortium and hosted by the University of Houston Center for Mexican American Studies (UH-CMAS), explores and celebrates Latino/a/x and Latin American visual artists in the United States while advancing awareness, education, scholarship and knowledge. In 2019, Houston will serve as the fifth US city to host such an effort that targets both local and national audiences.LAN!
