Join us every day for fun aviation activities for kids of all ages!

SATURDAY MARCH 13

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Warbird Rides- It’s a bucket list-worthy experience! Purchase your ride here or watch the planes take off from our ramp!
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Free Simulators & Mooney Hangar Tour– experience. You’ll feel like a real pilot!
11 a.m. Noon Natural Flyers– Visit with feathered “winged” friends from the Wildlife Center of Texas in this interactive program!
Noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. Marshalling Class– Learn the signals and motions that direct and send off aircraft around the world, then try your hand at marshalling on our ramp!

SUNDAY MARCH 14

12 p.m. – 3 p.m. Free Simulators & Mooney Hangar Tour– experience. You’ll feel like a real pilot!
1 p.m. Hangar Talk– Hear the incredible story of the B-25 and the Doolittle Raid of WWII

MONDAY MARCH 15

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Mechanic Monday- Meet our aircraft mechanics and learn the ropes!
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. No Touch Tables- Check out really cool aviation artifacts and machinery.
1 p.m. Hangar Talk- Learn why the F4U Corsair was one of the most legendary planes of WWII.

TUESDAY MARCH 16

11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. AV8R Experiments- Hands on fun that is all about science and aviation.
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. No Touch Tables- Check out really cool aviation artifacts and machinery.
1 p.m. Hangar Talk- Discover why the T-6 Texan was nicknamed the “Pilot Maker.”

WEDNESDAY MARCH 17

10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Happy St. Patrick’s Day– Find a pot of gold, collect a coin and win a prize!
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. No Touch Tables- Check out really cool aviation artifacts and machinery.
1 p.m. Hangar Talk– Go back in time to the early days of commercial flight with our DC-3.

THURSDAY MARCH 18

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Pilot Experience- Fly our simulators then tour the Mooney Hangar and go through a flight check list, just like a real pilot!
11 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. Flight Crew Thursday– Hear from a professional pilot and LSFM volunteer pilot on what it’s like to fly vintage and commercial liners.
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Lil’ Pilot’s Make & Take– Design and color your own pilot’s uniform!

FRIDAY MARCH 19

10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Story Time- Bring your littles for a fun flying story in the Flight Academy.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Battleship Texas Gun Trailer- Get up close and personal with some awesome and historic WWII hardware!
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Eggstronaut Drop!- Build a structure to protect your egg from recycled materials and drop it from our 2nd floor balcony!

SATURDAY MARCH 20

10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ELLINGTON DAY! We are celebrating all things Ellington. History, aviation, partners, and planes. Aircraft and vehicles on display, military on hand, info booths, demonstrations and more!  You won’t want to miss this awesome day!
