March Madness - Where Live Music and College Basketball Collide
Houston Texas is often highlighted for its keen sense of business. Monday- Friday, spanning from downtown to the energy corridor, houston natives are all about the grind. However, after five we drop the business gear and dive into the nightlife, work hard play hard, there is always something to do. Unknown to most, but Houston has a buzzing underground music scene that is on the brink of explosion. If you’re a music lover, you should mark your calendars for every Saturday in March. Why? That’s when The city will be seeking out Houston’s best talent and giving them opportunities to share on the big stage. During the month of March, Revolver Reloaded, a beautiful bar with a large patio, stage and DJ, will be hosting it’s first ever March Madness event. This isn’t your typical NCAA event- although the game will be available to fans, they’re turning it up a notch. Game day meets party vibes, featuring local artists across the city, drink specials, games on all of its numerous flat screen TVs and more. I encourage natives, visitors and transplants to check it out, this event will be free to the public every Saturday through the month of March. Live MusicGames on the Lawn, $15 Beer Buckets.
