Gremillion & Co. Fine Art, Inc. is pleased to announce stalking Deep Time, an exhibition of work by North Carolina photographer Scott Gardner. The opening reception will be on Thursday, April 12 from 6-8 p.m.“Deep Time is a concept cultivated by the Scottish geologist James Hutton, who in the 18th century realized through his study of strata that the earth was much older than previously imagined. So ancient, in fact, that it had ‘No vestige of a beginning, no concept of an end.’ Time is immeasurably vast and one single human life is but a blip. stalking Deep Time is a visual journal of my struggle to reconcile my fleeting animal moment with the infinite world I am swimming in.” –Scott GardnerThe exhibition continues through May 12, 2018. Gallery hours are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
