On Sunday, February 26, Ron Mueck, an exhibition showcasing 13 major works by contemporary sculptor Ron Mueck, opens at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Known for his hauntingly realistic figures, Mueck examines the human condition through the medium of sculpture, creating works with astonishing verisimilitude and emotional resonance.

Assembled from private and public collections around the world, Ron Mueck presents some of the artist’s most iconic works, ranging from the selfquestioning boy in Crouching Boy in Mirror (1999–2002) to the aging partners of Couple under an Umbrella (2013). The exhibition will be on view through August 13, 2017.
