Rooftop Cinema Club is honored to be a part of Houston’s heritage and Space City Month by screening space-related films every Thursday night throughout July. Films start at 8.30pm and doors open at 6.30pm so guests can enjoy delicious food and cocktails, whilst soaking in the city skyline at sunset before taking their seats for the ultimate outdoor cinema experience. Our venue is located in the heart of Houston on the roof above Whole Foods at BLVD Place, 1700 Post Oak Blvd, Uptown Houston 77056.
In celebrating Space City Month in Houston, we wanted to focus on three aspects of a space mission: the preparation, the journey, and the mission:
APOLLO 11 – 18th July
A breathtaking documentary taken from incredible never-before-seen 70mm footage shot for the Apollo 11 mission, it follows Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins during that fateful trip from earth to the moon. Spliced with real excerpts from mission control and on-the-ground footage from Florida, it’s a work of staggering beauty.
