Rooftop Cinema Club is honored to be a part of Houston’s heritage and Space City Month by screening space-related films every Thursday night throughout July. Films start at 8.30pm and doors open at 6.30pm so guests can enjoy delicious food and cocktails, whilst soaking in the city skyline at sunset before taking their seats for the ultimate outdoor cinema experience. Our venue is located in the heart of Houston on the roof above Whole Foods at BLVD Place, 1700 Post Oak Blvd, Uptown Houston 77056.
In celebrating Space City Month in Houston, we wanted to focus on three aspects of a space mission: the preparation, the journey, and the mission:
GRAVITY – 11th July
One of the most acclaimed science fiction epics of our time, Gravity showed us what was possible in terms of both cutting-edge special effects and the idea of what could be waiting for us in space. Featuring an emotionally dynamic performance from Sandra Bullock, the film is a perfect conclusion to the series, and a wonderful view from a rooftop!
