The award-winning Stratford Playhouse will be presenting Nunsense January 29 through February 6, 2021 at The Queensbury Theatre under the direction of Alyssa Davidson. The season opening show will be performed away from home for the Playhouse, while the new Stratford auditorium is under construction through 2021.

The production’s student director Luke Centanni says “The amount of work our amazing actresses have put in so far is phenomenal. I have no doubt in my mind that this show will be one nobody will want to miss.” Nunsense is a hilarious talent show staged by five survivors at the Little Sisters of the Hoboken nunnery. It’s a zany, wholesome, hilarious musical revue sure to start the new year with a Ha-Ha-lleluia!

“During this time, it has been such a joy to work on Nunsense with this oh-so talented team! Come check out this charming and fun-filled production. You won’t want to miss this heavenly delight!” says Davidson. After months without live theatre performances, she is grateful for the continuing support of the community and “Looks forward to celebrating this poignant moment in the narrative of the Stratford Playhouse.”

Tickets for Nunsense are $25 and available for purchase online, shsplayhouse.org. Performances are scheduled for January 29, 30 and February 4, 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m., with matinee performances at 2:30 p.m. on January 30 and February 6.
