So, you thought you were writing a standalone novel, but the novel had other ideas. Now you have an idea for a series spilling onto the page and out of your hands. Congratulations, Pandora. It's a good problem to have, one that can help you develop a fan base so loyal that they will try to push trolley carts through solid brick walls. But... How do you plot a series? What kind of worldbuilding needs to take place? How does a writer shape satisfying character arcs? This 3-part course seeks to explore those questions and help you shape your story into an engaging series. This workshop will help writers assess their series ideas in these terms. Writers should expect to leave with questions as well as answers, and more than anything, the grit and determination it takes to believe - as they want their readers to believe - in the magic of the series taken shape on the page.
