Young Audiences of Houston is dedicated to providing Houston’s youth with access to the arts and arts education, which are critical to a well-rounded education. The Stars at Night, the annual fundraising event, offers critical support to the ongoing arts education programs, services and collaborations of Young Audiences of Houston. The Stars at Night theme serves to spotlight student diversity and honor the most precious stars of our city—our children! Particularly, children with learning differences such as ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, or other cognitive learning differences. Young Audiences recognizes the potential of all students and is committed to supporting holistic education by providing high-quality, arts-based learning experiences to children of all learning abilities. This year’s event is particularly noteworthy, as leaders from all 31 national Young Audiences affiliates will attend The Stars at Night as it coincides with the National Young Audiences Conference. Our work is inherently tied to the creative talents of more than 200 artists from every part of the globe that provide young children with access to their cultural heritage that provides a bridge of understanding to arts, music, and dance and connects it back to language, history, and culture.
