160ft Beerworks is downtown’s first nanobrewery. The 2,000 square foot brewery offers 4 beers on tap at a time including a stout, blonde, hefeweizen, and imperial IPA. Throughout each year, 160ft will offer 10-12 new styles, always keeping experimental batches on hand.
The microbrewery seats 35 with room for 8 staff behind the counter. The intimate bar is just a few miles from St. Arnold Brewery, something owner Michael Olenick is happy about given he’s a big fan of the iconic brewery. 160ft Beerworks name is a nod to the 160 ft. elevation of The Woodlands, the site of Olenick’s original home brewery outpost. The brewery will also offer food from onsite vendors.
160ft Beerworks plans to be open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
