Amalfi’s channels all of the charm and beauty of Italy’s western coast with fresh infusions of seafood and local produce. Chef Giancarlo Ferrara has been making traditional Italian favorites and modern creations since his young years spend in the coastal city of Salerno, Italy. It was next to his mother in the kitchen that he learned the patience, time, and passion that goes into his menu.
The extensive menu at Amalfi emphasizes fresh seafood, fresh pastas, an assortment of meats, family-made cheeses, cleanly crafted cocktails, and an extensive, thoughtful wine list. Chef Ferrara insists on only using the finest local meats, seafood, and seasonal produce.
The white-walled Mediterranean themes permeate the layout and décor of the interior. The restaurant also features a patio and bar counter. It’s always a family affair at Amalfi’s as children are encouraged to take an impromptu cooking class as they assemble their own pizzas next to a large wood oven. Along with a group of friendly and efficient waiters, Chef Ferrara and his wife Lisa personally see to it that you receive the best dining experience possible.
