Named one of Zagat’s Top 5 New Patios in Houston in 2015, Añejo is already making waves on the west side. The Tex-Mex restaurant pays tribute to traditional Texan favorites with what it calls “Elevated Tex-Mex”.
Executive Chef Michael Pellegrino, heads up Añejo after developing the acclaimed MAX’s Wine Dive on Washington. Añejo is one of the most unique upscale burrito and fajita restaurants in town. With dishes like the Gulf Coast snapper tacos, wild boar burritos, or the signature Casa Dragones tequila-honey lobster tail, there are many delicious options to explore. The restaurant keeps a vintage steakhouse feel with red plush furniture along with a large covered outdoor patio.
Añejo’s also has an extensive bar with over 100 spirits, including 75 tequilas, 25 mezcals and 150+ distinguished wines. Margaritas are hand-crafted with fresh squeezed lime, local raw honey and 100% agave tequila. You’ll even find authentic Mexican sodas and juices from Flow Juice Bar to accompany their haute cuisine.
