Located in what once served as the neighborhood spot Alice’s Café & Lounge, Big Eyed Fish opened its doors in December 2015, serving southern American cuisine in a renovated Heights space.
It’s hard to miss the cerulean colored building near the intersection of Washington Avenue and Henderson Street. Inside, a come-as-you-are crowd digs into comfort food classics, local beer and wine. Expect everything from tuffled bacon mac ’n’ cheese, deviled eggs, meatloaf and other approachable finds, along with a handful of seafood offerings and classic desserts.
Big Eyed Fish is open for lunch and dinner daily and weekend brunch.
