After operating in Houston’s River Oaks area for years, Café Ginger added on a second, Uptown -area location in spring 2017. Set in BBVA Compass Plaza, the restaurant unfolds in the space that was most recently home to Oka Sushi.
Inside the contemporary space is sleek with expansive windows, glass pendants and dark wood accents. Take a seat inside at the sushi bar, one of the banquettes or venture out onto the patio, where guests can enjoy their Lychee Martini and spider rolls alfresco. On the menu, expect a mix of Chinese favorites like General Tso’s chicken and Mongolian beef, along with Japanese fare highlighted in one of the three dozen sushi rolls.
Café Ginger is open for lunch and dinner, daily.
