Houston’s award-winning Christian’s Tailgate has expanded its burger-making venture again, adding a third location in the city’s historic Heights neighborhood.
In the latest incarnation, which opened in June 2011, Christian’s continues to deliver a casual atmosphere filled with flat-screen TVs, shuffleboard and billiards tables that draw locals for games and grub. Like its predecessors, the White Oak location touts plenty of cold beer on tap and a bar-minded menu that shines with Christian’s signature burger—the same one that earned the biz a spot on Playboy.com’s list of America’s 10 Best Burgers. Inside, the newest outpost blurs the line between indoors and out with retractable garage doors lining the perimeter, a climate-controlled covered patio space and painted concrete floors.
Christian’s is open daily for lunch and dinner.
