The first establishment to be carved from the former Brownstone establishment in Upper Kirby is Chef Bruce Molzan’s Corner Table restaurant.
Offering counter-service at lunch and a more refined, full-service experience at dinner, Corner Table will feature some of the same flavors that won Molzan praise at Ruggles. The menu consists of paleo and gluten free cuisine focusing on all natural, organic products. Paleo entrees include Turkey Bolognese with spaghetti squash noodles, cauliflower dirty rice with seared salmon and buffalo wings made with almond meal. During lunch, the menu focuses on salads, sandwiches and pizza from the wood-burning oven. There are more substantial entrees for dinner, including rack of lamb and seafood entrees.
Guests enter Corner Table through a European-style courtyard and have the option to dine on the patio with cabana-style seating and a water fountain or inside the bright, crisp dining room adorned with chandeliers and offering views of the kitchen. Slanted wine racks made from reclaimed wood accent the restaurant. There are a number of options for private party and banquet events set in an elegant ambiance.
Two nightlife concepts will soon join Corner Table: The Oak Bar & Nightclub and 1919 Wine and Mixology.
