Cowboys & Indians Tex-In Kitchen

The once blindingly colorful sandwich shop at the corner of Taft Street and Webster Street closed to make room for Cowboys & Indians Indo-Tex Kitchen in late 2016. Set in a 1920s space, the restaurant traded out the previous tenant’s red, yellow and green palette for a subdued look that allows the concept’s eclectic menu to take center stage.

Venture past the inviting, covered patio into the restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling windows blend with industrial accents in everything from a galvanized bar wrap and concrete floors to an open-duct ceiling. But the real draw lies on the diverse menu that promises everything from lamb chop vindaloo and flaky ground beef samosas to classic burgers served on Slow Dough buns.   

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, daily.
