The Sugar Land Town Square made room for a new neighbor in early-summer 2012 with the opening of Guru Burgers & Crepes. The American-meets-French eatery—created by the same folks behind Latin-sushi fusion concept Japaneiro’s—spotlights made-from-scratch burgers and crepes, crafted with never-frozen premium ingredients.
Inside, the urban-chic space is marked by white-washed exposed brick, custom chalk-board tables and stylish steel Tolix seating. On the menu, fans find everything from grass-fed Akaushi Beef burgers and beer-battered chicken sammys to vegetarian-friendly portobello mushroom burgers and ground-turkey varieties. Pair them with one of Guru’s sides—sweet potato fries, beet chips and yucca fries are among the options—or salads. Don’t miss the thoughtful beer selection, which highlights area brewers and is available in to-go growlers.
Guru Burgers & Crepes is open for lunch and dinner daily.
