After closing for a reconception and remodel, Washington Avenue Drinkery has reopened with a new, food-focused vision. Expect locally-sourced "American Revival" fare served in a rustic chic space at The Heights Lodge.
After years serving as the city’s nightlife district, co-owner Jason Torres hopes he can help introduce a new wave of dining options along Washington Avenue, starting with his newly-revamped gastropub concept. Like in the space’s previous life, guests will find a large, wrap-around bar, as well as spacious patio and table seating, but now the interior has been refined by chic pendant lighting, as well as marble and reclaimed-wood accents. In addition to boasting more than two-dozen beers on tap and a craft cocktail menu, fans can dig into dishes like artisan flatbreads, gourmet grilled cheeses and comfort foods like gouda mac and cheese and BLTs.
Heights Lodge is open Monday through Friday for dinner and late night, and Saturday and Sunday, for lunch and dinner.
