Killen’s TMX is Chef Ronnie Killen’s fifth restaurant concept, melding his barbecue expertise and love of Tex-Mex into one. Killen put in the time to travel and study the cuisine on top of the years he grew up in Texas simply eating Tex-Mex.
A bar decked with a charming blue brick backsplash and wooden, industrial bar stools is an enchanting place to sip on margaritas and dig into some brisket queso. Much of the menu is made from scratch so diners can expect nothing short of a home cooked meal and with plenty of bar and table seating, it’s a great spot to indulge in refreshing drinks and tasty plates.
Killen’s TMX also features barbacoa short ribs and sweet corn empanadas proving that barbeque and Tex-Mex do in fact marry beautifully together. Killen didn’t shy away from any classic Tex-Mex dishes, though. Enchiladas and fajitas also grace the menu as well as homemade tortillas destined to impress locals and visitors alike.
