Austin’s Kung Fu Saloon has put down roots on Houston’s bustling Washington Avenue. Merging the vintage arcade, sake bar and sports bar concepts, Kung Fu Saloon is a fun, if not eclectic, outpost for the professional set and area residents.
Like its Austin counterpart, the bar touts a selection of more than two-dozen beers on tap, 17 vintage arcade games and always-free skee-ball lanes. There are also oversized versions of connect four and jenga available, too. Other highlights within the 5,600-square-foot space include two karaoke rooms with old-school Nintendo games and a sake bomb menu—a rare find beyond sushi restaurant walls.
Kung Fu Saloon—which is set across the street from The Blue Moose Lodge—is open until 2 a.m. daily and is available for private parties.
