Lily Rain

Houston-based Lily Rain recently made the leap from online to brick and mortar with its first U.S. shop in Rice Village. The lifestyle shop, which launched in October 2013, stocks women’s clothing and accessories, as well as home decor from established and rising-star designers.

Houston-based MC2 architect Chung Nguyen designed the 3,000-square-foot boutique which is sleek and open with stained concrete floors, crisp white walls and glossy rose gold pendants suspended overhead. On the shelves, customers will find names like Level 99 and Red Engine denim, as well as Kooba purses and LAFCO body products, among other chic finds.

Lily Rain is open Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.; Monday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
