Elevated Bayou Cuisine. That’s how celebrity chef and James Beard Award nominee Bryan Caswell describes the food at his new restaurant, Oxbow 7, located in downtown Houston’s central business district.
When guests enter the restaurant, they’re greeted by a large, colorful mural – the work of beloved local graffiti artist, Gonzo. The dining room is dressed in mid-century modern furniture and fixtures with a stunning starburst lighting element tying it all together.
The menu showcases a wide range of imminently shareable dishes, from playful offerings like lightly fried popcorn with crispy cauliflower or buck shot gumbo to hearty meals of dry-aged New York strip and boudin-stuffed quail. Also, the whimsical dessert menu is not to be missed!
Oxbow 7 is located on 1121 Walker St. and is open 6 a.m. - 10.m. everyday.
