Don’t expect peace and quiet at Montrose’s Pax Americana, the recently-opened biz is all abuzz with patrons digging into modern American fare in a Craftsman-style space.
The lively restaurant is a collaborative effort between restaurateurs Shephard Ross, Dan and Mark Zimmerman and Executive Chef Martha de Leon. Inside, wooden floors mix with clean white woodwork, soft lighting and Carrera accenting. Grab a seat on the patio or in one of the banquettes and dig into land and sea offerings like the Gulf tilefish or braised Berkshire pork collar. Save room for the horchata ice cream.
Come for happy hour after work (or even weekends) and enjoy special offerings on small plates and cocktails every day from 5 to 7 p.m.
Pax Americana is open for brunch Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner, Tuesday through Sunday nights.
