Restaurateurs Charles Clark and Grant Cooper, along with executive chef Brandi Key, launched a new concept in March 2014 named Punk's Simple Southern Food. The partners' most casual concept to date celebrates classic southern dishes pulled from the regions from the Gulf Coast up through the Carolinas.
Located next door to Coppa Osteria, in Rice Village, the spot offers Southern fare with a twist. Think deviled eggs, pimiento cheese and Pimm's cups. Half of the 3,596 square-foot-space, outfitted in a rustic meets glam style, is devoted to patio seating, while the interior unfolds in a mix of bar and small top seating.
Punk’s is open daily for lunch and dinner.
