Rabih and Florelle Salibi, the talent responsible for launching Houston’s Flo Paris, have created a new seafood-focused French concept in spring 2017. Salmontin caters to the River Oaks’ crowd in a space that was most recently home to the Corner Table.
Armed with a plan to create a full-service restaurant, as opposed to a casual bakery, guests can expect a more buttoned up setting with white linen tablecloths, soft lighting and artfully plated selections. Inside, restored hardwood floors mix with gallery white walls intermixed with gray banquettes and a long, wrap around bar top. On the menu, Chef Salibi offers favorites like the bouillabaisse incorporating the catch of the day and house-made rouille sauce, foie gras and other French favorites.
