New to Houston's Museum District, Scrappy Brown’s pays homage to Houston’s local icehouses of the early 20th century. The one-time auto garage has been transformed into a 3,800 square foot space that includes a large indoor bar and covered patio. A laid-back atmosphere makes for a place to enjoy drinks, music and sports with friends.
Local Chef Chris Williams' gastropub provides simple and well-executed comfort food with a Texas twist, matched with refreshing craft cocktails named after iconic Houston streets. After his success with Lucille’s, a Houston comfort food favorite, Williams continues to bring culinary attention to the Museum District.
Signature drinks include the Southmore, Almeda, Parkwood and MacGregor Way; each drink is crafted to represent the personality of each street. Scrappy Brown’s is also devoted to using fresh and local ingredients. Williams’ goal is to give guests a unique experience, and with favorites like oxtail cheesesteaks and pork belly sliders.
