You don't have to head to the Texas coast for the catch of the day. Just a short drive from downtown, in the historic Heights neigborhood, Star Fish coastal bar and kitchen serves up fresh seafood in an upscale setting.
A 300-gallon freshwater aquarium welcomes guests into the coastal-inspired space, while the black and white palate offers a sophisticated touch.
Start at the raw bar for a seafood coktail, or tower to share with friends. House made signature sauces top off the coastal raw bar with favorites like Sauce Fleur de Chartreuse, Jalapeno Mignonette, Meyer Lemon Pesto, Leche de Tigre and the signature Mills’ Green Goddess. Appetizers include the puffy crispy lobster tacos, steak tartare and wood grilled & gried oysters to name a few. But leave room for the main course, which includes whole gulf red snapper, wood grilled Ora King Salmon from New Zealand, or the grilled deviled lobster with shrimp.
The restaurant is open for dinners Sunday through Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
