Tea + Victory

Calling all board game fans! Tea + Victory in Shady Acres is redefining game night by treating Houstonians to more than 500 board games in a coffee shop setting. Owned by Jason Bush, Vanessa Briceño and Meghan Rega, the café offers visitors an opportunity to play their favorite board game or discover the newest arrivals to the market.

With Game Guides on hand to help you select a game and teach you how to play it, Tea + Victory is a fun destination for an afternoon or evening out. Don’t sweat it if your friends aren’t up for playing. You can always join a game with other players through Tea + Victory’s website.

To go with that round of Monopoly or Catan, Tea + Victory has a menu of coffee, tea, wine and beer. You’ll also find plenty to eat, from small bites such as deviled eggs and a meat and cheese plate to more filling dishes like the wedge salad and meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

Tea + Victory is open Tuesday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
