Texas de Brazil, an authentic Brazilian-American churrascaria (steak house), brought its brand to west Houston in April 2013. Located in the pedestrian-friendly CityCentre development, patrons find the cuisine of Southern Brazil in all-you-can-eat portions of seasoned beef, lamb, pork and chicken.
The Texas de Brazil concept, which has garnered numerous food and wine awards, features a fixed-price menu, that includes a 100-item salad bar with lobster bisque, made-to-order sushi in select locations, marinated vegetables, fresh greens, aged cheeses, freshly made in-house salad dressings, and hot and cold specialty items all more than substantial enough to serve as a stand-alone meal. A troop of roaming, gaucho-clad carvers parade through the room serving deliciously seasoned cuts of meat including filet mignon, parmesan pork loin, chicken breast wrapped in bacon, hearty flank steak, roasted leg of lamb, seared top sirloin, Brazilian sausage, and the house specialty picanha.
The restaurant is open for dinner daily.
