Fried chicken fanatics can now rejoice thanks to the recent opening of The Chicken Ranch.
Named after the infamous Texas bordello, guests can enjoy their fried chicken with a side of Houston history. Housed in the former Bellissimo Ristorante on North Main in the Heights neighborhood, the exterior is painted to resemble the infamous bordello. Step inside and dine beneath a portrait of Marvin Zindler, the legendary Houston media personality that launched the bordello to fame.
But former Goro & Gun operator Joshua Martinez and co-owner Paul Sedillo dish up more than a fun, down-home atmosphere at their new establishment. Expect a tasty classic like wings, dirty rice, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, creamed corn and of course, buckets upon buckets of chicken.
