The Houston Food Bank Conference Center was developed as part of the new food bank facility to benefit the community and the organization's donors.
The Conference Center can accommodate events and meetings for groups ranging from 10 to 400 during regular business hours and some evenings and weekends. HFB charges a minimal fee for hosting outside events. HFB welcome groups from most corporations, nonprofit partners, associations, professional organizations, government agencies, and some social groups. Fundraisers, press and media events and political activities are not currently allowed in the facility.
To make an event more meaningful, users are encouraged to include a volunteer activity that assists in feeding the hungry.
