After 15 years in the restaurant biz, restaurateur Paul Miller introduced his globally-inspired Union Kitchen to the Houston market in late-summer 2010. Armed with experience working at The Grand Luxe and McCormick & Schmick’s, Miller opened the spot in the former home of Braeswood-set Gina’s Italian Bistro serving up a mix of dishes from around the world.
Inside, the airy interior features a full bar with flat screen tvs and plenty of seating options, including a special chefs table, or guests can venture outside for al fresco dining on the patio. Expect a menu of moderately-priced salads, sandwiches, seafood and chops. Some of the menu standouts include the crispy asparagus with sautéed Texas Blue Crab meat, the tuna tostadas and chipotle shrimp pizza.
Union Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner daily.
