When the Pride Parade ends on June 22, the celebration definitely won’t be stopping. The festivities continue well into the morning with after parties celebrating the LGBTQ community throughout the city. Almost all Houston-area bars will be featuring drink specials and rejoicing in Pride so don’t forget to check our listings of LGBTQ bars in the city before making your final choice of where to take your night. But here are some of the hottest goings-on after the last float goes down the street.
Official Pride Houston After Party
If you feel like dancing the night away, head to Rich’s and be part of the Official Pride Houston After Party. With three different DJs and drag performances by Kara Dion and The Ladies of Rich's, there will be something for everyone. Tickets are $20 at the door and even though Rich’s is erecting a tent out back to hold more patrons, it will fill up fast.
Pride After Party with DJ Krazzy Kris
Over at Guava Lamp, DJ Krazzy Kris will be spinning all night starting at 9 p.m. Head to Guava Lamp to beat the heat with a night of cold drinks and great music.
Pearl Bar Pride Party
Let your rainbow spirit fly at Houston’s #1 Pride party for lesbians. Featuring five different DJs, a bounce house and more, this is the ultimate place to get loud and proud after the parade this year.
Pride Mary at Hamburger Mary’s
With four showtimes on June 22, grab a bite at Hamburger Mary’s after the festival and enjoy a drag show featuring some of Houston’s best performers. Shows are happening at noon, 3 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and the whole family in welcome.
QueerGirl Pride Party at Interio Bar
Geared toured queer women, this Pride tour is bringing together top-talent within the queer-female community for an ultimate party of DJs, dancers, influencers and more! All are welcome with doors opening at 9 p.m. and early tickets starting at $15 and $20 at the door.
The Tea Dance
On June 23, the official Pride Houston Closing Party will be going down at the Eagle Houston. Wrap up another Pride celebration with friends and loved ones at The Tea Dance block party. It will all start at 4 p.m. and go well into the night. Depending on how late you want to stay out, it might be a good idea to put in that vacation request for Monday now.
