Houston is home to some of the world's most celebrated athletes, so who better to dish on the city's sports scene than Houston's star players?
"Being an athlete here in Houston, I think the fan support is great. With the Texans, Rockets, Astros and the Dynamo here, the support from the community is unbelievable.
"For soccer in Houston, the support is going to be even better going into our new stadium.
"We feed off the fan support in our games and it is important to have a full stadium. The passion of Houston sports fans has been huge."
"There's a lot to do, whether it's going to an Astros or Texans game or the Houston Rodeo, which is one of the biggest in the country.
"My most memorable experience in Houston would have to be driving a copy of the GT car that I won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with. In the early 70's, I drove it over 200 mph on the 610 freeway. There weren't nearly as many cars on the road back then."
"Houston is an easy city to sell. I always tell players what a great place Houston is to live in. Growing up here and going to school at A&M re-enforces that. I also tell them that Houston is a sports capitol - with winning teams like the Astros and Rockets, we're building another winning team with the Texans."
"I moved to Houston to go to the University of Houston. One that stands out was watching the U of H Cougars beat Texas A&M-I think it was 1991. We came from behind to win.
"Houston is a huge sports town, and I am a huge sports fan!"
