Restaurateurs Grant Cooper and Charles Clark—of Ibiza and Brasserie 19 fame—opened their newest venture Coppa Ristorante Italiano in summer 2011.
Located in the stylish space that was most recently home to Catalan restaurant, Coppa brought a facelift to the interior, including rustic accents, new furniture and a wood-burning oven. Chef Brandi Key has crafted an Italian-American menu that highlights the restaurant’s signature Neopolitan pizza, seafood dishes and pasta plates.
Go for classics like the piping-hot lasagna, the egg-topped spaghetti carbonara or one of the perfectly-charred pizzas, paired with a selection from the well-priced wine list. Another favorite: the tuna crudo with Texas peaches, hazelnuts, pickled red onion and mint.
The interior of the restaurant is highlighted by peacock blue and yellow colors, custom chandeliers and ornately framed mirrors. The new Coppa Cabana partially enclosed patio extends the dining room and bar area outdoors with lounge seating and the Amalfi room allows for private events of up to 50 guests.
Open seven days a week, Coppa serves lunch on weekdays and dinner seven nights a week.
