Situated in a landmark building, as designated by The Houston Historical Society, The Astorian is an industrial-chic, 28,000-square-foot event venue located in The Heights area of Houston. Conceived by Andria Design, the private loft space and rooftop takes inspiration from New York City’s infamous Grand Central Station.
Inside, The Astorian blends 1930s glamour and Art Deco detailing with ornate mosaic accents, glittering chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Downtown. The venue offers a contemporary, bi-level facility equipped with 14-foot ceilings, state-of-the-art smart technology, a private boardroom and a fully-functional gourmet kitchen and bar.
Warm touches such as wood paneling and soft lighting are combined with modern elements such as concrete floors, rusted steel, brushed aluminum and brass and copper detailing. Removable walls and fixtures allow for flexible configurations to tailor the space to exact specifications.
