Clark Cooper Concepts—the brains behind Houston’s Ibiza Food & Wine, Brasserie 19, Coppa Ristorante and Punk’s Simple Southern Food—is set to add another venture to its award-winning portfolio. Slated to open in Summer 2015, The Dunlavy will bring couples a private event and dining space that showcases the brand’s culinary talent, while also delivering eye-catching views of Buffalo Bayou and Lost Lake.
The 3,800-square-foot event space, designed by Page, will boast a clean and modern aesthetic marked by floor-to-ceiling windows, gallery-like interiors and a large wraparound patio suspended over the bayou.
Clients interested in hosting a wedding or special event at The Dunlavy will be able to choose menus from any of the Clark Cooper Concept restaurants or have the company’s culinary team create custom menus and wine pairings.
Beyond operating as a special event venue, the restaurant will provide counter service breakfast and lunch daily. The building will also house a park visitor center and a canoe and kayak rental facility, operated by the Buffalo Bayou Partnership.
