Melinda Mintz joined Houston First as the Director of Hotel Sales in 2022. Her career in hospitality spans 20 years, the majority of time spent in hotel operations and sales across Hilton, Marriott, IHG and independent brands. She began her career at an 88 – room hotel in Burnsville, Minnesota, where her love for hospitality and customer service was born. After graduating from the University of Minnesota’s College of Liberal Arts, her path led her to the Houston, Texas, area where she has been serving in different hospitality sales capacities since 2007.

Melinda enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter traveling to new destinations, nature, birding, hiking, camping, and relaxing by the pool.
