As the Manager of Housing and Client Services at Visit Houston, Elvia Amaro is responsible for effectively managing hotel blocks and reservations.

Elvia has successfully managed the housing aspect of events with over 14,000 room nights. Elvia began her career in hospitality back in 2008 at MVP Properties where she gained experience from all aspects of hotel operations.

A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Spanish being her first language. Elvia is a proud Wife and Mother of 3 children.
