In mid-February, a team from Yahoo News paid a visit to Houston to film an installment of a new series called Cities Rising: Rebuilding America.
The goal: showcase cities that have overcome adversity to become leaders in various industries and a place people are flocking to as residents and visitors.
Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric led the coverage and took a close look at the industries that are driving the city today.
According to Yahoo News: "Houston will surprise you. The sprawling metropolis known for traffic and Tex-Mex is also home to next year’s Super Bowl and has one of the most diverse populations in the nation."
