Daikin Park (originally Enron Field, formerly Astros Field and Minute Maid Park, and since January 1, 2025, Daikin Park) is a retractable-roof stadium. This ballpark with a natural grass playing field has a capacity of 41,168 seats, including 5,197 club seats and 63 luxury suites. It opened in 2000 to replace the Astrodome, the first domed sports stadium ever built, which opened in 1965. The Astros, called initially the Colt .45’s, changed their name when they began playing at the Astrodome in 1965. The park was built using preexisting historical architecture, such as the Houston Union Station terminal, as a cornerstone.

Go ‘Stros!

Cheer on one of the best teams in baseball with thousands of other fans as they chase playoff hopes. Each time the Astros hit a home run, the iconic Home Run Train blows its horn, shoots fireworks, and chugs its way across the stadium wall towards Union Station. On the Opening Day in 2025 (March 27), during pregame ceremonies, the Astros unveiled the new look of the famous train. Phillips 66, which has sponsored the Home Run Pump for 22 seasons, sponsors the popular train for the first time in 2025. Some of the changes to the train include: minor tune ups and a fresh new paint scheme – the train now reflects the Astros current color scheme, which is blue and orange. As part of the Astros recognition of the 25th anniversary of the downtown ballpark, 25 baseballs are now part of the train’s tender. Each baseball features an Astros logo from representing special moments of time throughout the 25 year history of the ballpark.
Daikin Park offers a variety of premium seating opportunities, including the exclusive Gallagher Club.
