Comedy Clubs
It’s true what they say, laughter truly is the best medicine. From improv groups to standup comedy clubs, Houston is chock-full of venues that will surely give you the chuckles.
The Secret Group
Located in EaDo, The Secret Group is a bar and multipurpose venue that hosts many comedy nights. From themed comedy nights to touring comedians, The Secret Group is a happening spot to, “ha ha.”
Improv Houston
Houston Improv offers many laughs and more than just improv. Their calendar is booked with local and nationally known comedians so it is always a go-to for a fun night out.
ComedySportz
Like the name suggests, this laugh shack pits two teams of improv professionals against each other in a battle of wits and comedy. One team wins, the other loses but everyone comes out a winner after a fun night at ComedySportz.
The Music Box Theater
Comedy meets music at the always-entertaining Music Box Theater. Musicians and artists blend songs, sketches and soul into a show that will have you laughing and singing along all night long.
Station Theater
A staple in the comedy scene, Station Theater has been cracking up Houstonians for more than a decade. With six shows a week, classes and an annual comedy festival, Station Theater is home to some of the most dedicated, and funniest people around town.
