Sicardi Gallery focuses on the relationship between the U.S. and Latin America through art, a medium the gallery believes to be a universal language.
The gallery relocated from its spot in the 2200-block of Richmond in summer 2012 to a brand new building in Montrose across from the Menil Collection. The two-story, contemporary space was designed specifically to showcase the artwork that has elevated Sicardi's name in collecting circles.
The gallery primarily hosts exhibitions of modern and contemporary Latin American art. A number of artists from the United States and other countries also exhibit their work at Sicardi Gallery. The artists range in career development from emerging artists to modern and contemporary masters from Latin America.
