Bourbon Heritage Month in Houston

Andiron 

Live-fire steakhouse Andiron (photo above) is the perfect setting to enjoy your favorite bourbon libation and a masterfully grilled steak this fall. Choose from an extensive list of bourbons or pick one of their specialty cocktails, including the Barrel Aged Manhattan ($24) made with Knob Creek Rye, Averna, and bitters.

Eunice 

As summer slowly fades and fall approaches, there’s no better way to embrace the season than a bourbon cocktail crafted to perfection. At Eunice, the upscale Louisiana-inspired and Texas-sourced restaurant in Upper Kirby, savor the $17 Teal Season - a masterful blend of Redemption Bourbon, Pasubio, honey, and bitters. For a lighter, zesty option, try the ($17) Central Thyme (photo above) featuring Redemption Bourbon, blood orange, and the smooth, frothy texture of egg white, creating the perfect refreshing cocktail. 

Loch Bar 

Celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month at Loch Bar, the swanky seafood tavern boasting one of the most extensive whiskey lists in the state. Loch Bar will be offering the Elijah Craig Private Barrel for $15, which is regularly priced at $28 through the month of September. Pair this drink or any of Loch Bar’s other delicious bourbon beverages with one of the restaurant’s signature dishes, like Maine Lobster Roll or Blackened Gulf Redfish. 

Plume 

The newest upscale cocktail bar in the Heights, Plume, boasts an impressive selection of bourbons for Bourbon Heritage Month. Indulge in a variety of classic and signature cocktails, including their Savannah Trace ($16) with muddled blackberries, peach-infused Buffalo Trace, Chambord, Pimm’s and St. Germain, almond and lemon, their Old Fashioned ($15) with Old Overholt Rye, turbinado syrup and Angostura bitters with a brandied cherry and orange peel, or their New York Sour ($15) featuring a twist on the traditional featuring Woodford Reserve Bourbon, lemon simple syrup and a touch of saline, topped with red wine foam.

Prime 131 

Berg Hospitality Group’s renowned live-fire steakhouse and sushi destination, Prime 131, features many curated bourbon cocktails. Guests can enjoy the Old Fashioned 1880 Louisville ($15) made with Bulleit bourbon, angostura bitters, orange bitters, and simply syrup, the Sazerac 1839 New Orleans ($15) made with Wild Turkey Rye 101 bourbon, herbsaint, Peychaud’s bitters, and simple syrup, or the New York Sour 1885 Chicago ($18) made with Basil Hayden bourbon, simply syrup, fresh lemon juice, and Oberon cabernet sauvignon. 

 Tavola 

Celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month at Tavola, the swanky, energetic Italian restaurant nestled within the glamorous Post Oak area. Created by both The Bastion Collection and Berg Hospitality Group, this concept offers an extensive array of unique cocktails that complement its vibrant, authentic Italian cuisine. Sip and savor the ($16) Omerta cocktail - a masterful blend of Four Roses Bourbon, Vermouth Rosso and Mirto Di Sardegna, giving the cocktail a sweet, fruity flavor.

Zanti Cucina Italiana 

Celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month at Zanti Cucina Italiana with its one-of-a-kind bourbon experience. Zanti’s bourbon cart features an impressive selection of bourbons, ryes, cognacs, and scotches, including the highly sought-after Penelope Toasted Bourbon. Guests are welcome to indulge in their favorite spirit with a single or double pour, served neat, on the rocks, or with Zanti’s signature ice. Throughout September, Zanti will also partner with Garrison Brothers for a special "Hye Fashioned Takeover," where $5 from each cocktail will be donated to the BOOT Campaign, supporting veterans across the nation.

Turner’s Cut 

Sip in style this September at Turner’s Cut, the elegant steakhouse from Berg Hospitality Group where luxury meets sophistication. Inspired by the opulence of the Gilded Age, Turner’s Cut offers the perfect ambiance to savor exquisite bourbons. Indulge in signature cocktails such as the Texas Old Fashioned ($18), featuring Longbranch bourbon, walnut bitters, and turbinado sugar, the Paper Plane ($18), a harmonious blend of Whistle Pig ‘Piggyback’ bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Averna, and fresh lemon juice, or the Boulevardier ($18), crafted with Knob Creek bourbon, Campari, and Cinzano sweet vermouth.
