Join City Acre Brewing (and all of their avid beer drinking fans) to celebrate its two-year anniversary on Saturday, June 30th.
From 12 – 4 p.m., the brewery will be alive with yard games on the acre of wooded land the brewery boasts plus music, a spectacular backyard cookout buffet from Chef Rick Kelsay, and a rotating menu of brand-new specialty beers. In addition to the shady, breezy acre’s worth of outdoor seating, City Acre’s air-conditioned taproom will be open for indoor festivities.
“We are very proud to celebrate our upcoming second anniversary,” says founder and head brewer Matt Schlabach. “Having literally weathered the storm when Harvey flooded our taproom in August, we couldn’t have made it this far without our wonderful customers, many of whom offered to swing a hammer or made it a point to buy an extra beer from us when we reopened.”
New beers featured at the anniversary will include:
Vexation Weizenbock
Suspiria Blood Orange Blonde
Strong Sender Cherry Pie Strong Ale
Green Eyed Blonde – City Acre’s house blonde brewed with lime peel instead of lemon
Banana Betty Bock – a banana bread bock
Tepache Blonde
Triple Berry Kolsch
Sevillized Wulf - City Acre’s Bayouwulf IPA brewed with Seville oranges
Plus a few other extra-special beer surprises still in store, and all of City Acre’s usual standards.
A $29.95 ticket includes an exclusive, commemorative anniversary pint glass, two fills of any beers of your choice and access to the backyard cookout buffet. Get your tickets now!
