Houston Restaurant Weeks (HRW) is one of the best times to be in the city. Every August, locals and visitors alike take full advantage of Houston’s thriving and diverse culinary scene—something the city is nationally recognized for. As the fourth-largest city in the country, Houston is home to more than 70 countries and regions represented in its restaurants. During this month-long event, diners can experience a curated taste of that diversity while also supporting a great cause.

MAD Houston
From August 1 through September 1, participating restaurants across the Houston area create special prix fixe menus with set prices: $25 for brunch or lunch, and $39 or $55 for dinner, with both dine-in and takeout options available. Each meal purchased generates a donation to the Houston Food Bank, the largest food bank in the country. To date, the event has raised over $22 million, providing more than 66 million meals for families across the region.

Le Colonial
Houston Restaurant Weeks was founded in 2003 by Cleverley Stone, a beloved food journalist who made it her mission to help end hunger in Houston. Her daughter, Katie Stone, now continues that legacy through The Cleverley Stone Foundation, ensuring that Houston’s most delicious fundraiser lives on.

Thai Cottage
For food lovers, HRW is a dream. It’s the perfect time to finally try that restaurant everyone recommends or discover a hidden gem in your neighborhood. The menus are designed to showcase each restaurant’s best dishes at accessible price points, so you can explore more for less—and feel good doing it.
This year, expect to find flavors from around the world, including Thailand, India, Louisiana, Latin America, China, and various parts of Europe. Returning to the lineup are several longtime favorites that Houstonians look forward to year after year, including Lucille’s, Hugo’s, Brennan’s of Houston, Merlion Seabrook, B&B Butchers & Restaurant, and Rainbow Lodge, each known for delivering consistently memorable dining experiences.

Cocody
Foodies looking to branch out will appreciate standout spots like Copenhagen European Kitchen & Bakery, Kokoro, Bari, The Lymbar, Craft Pita, Flora, de Gama Canteen, The Blind Goat, Amrina, Enoteca Rossa, Georgia James, Okot, Masraff’s, and many more.
The 2025 menus are now live on the HRW website, where you can browse restaurants by location, cuisine, and meal type. With new restaurants continuing to join through August, there’s always something fresh to discover.
