Osso & Kristalla 

Osso & Kristalla (photo above) is located directly across the street from Daikin Park, so there's no closer walk! Keep your eyes peeled - the owner of the Astros also owns Osso, so you will see him in there having lunch from time to time; players also pop in for the occasional meal. Osso & Kristalla has happy hour from 3-7 pm everyday, including game days with $2.50 well cocktails, bottled beer and house wine. They also have a signature drink called the Astros Screwball which is an orange frozen drink with vodka, orange, pineapple and peach juice and a blueberry swirl for $5.

Biggio's Sports Bar

Located next to the George R. Brown Convention Center, The Rustic offers a large selection of beer, cocktails, and live music throughout the year. Offering American food with culinary flair, the restaurant offers family-sized portions that don’t skimp on the wood-grilled smoky flavors that are freshly made and locally sourced. Irma’s Original

Award-winning Mexican food awaits at Irma’s Original! The local favorite is located mere steps away from Daikin Park and offers an ever-changing selection of breakfast and lunch items. When the Astros are playing at home, Chef Irma Galvan keeps the lights on until 7 pm for fans to get some excellent pre-game grub. Stop in for a glass of Irma’s famous lemonade and authentic home cooking—you have to try the carne guisada, enchiladas, and fajitas. Grab a beer at Frost Town Brewing right across the street and get ready to root for the home team!

Flying Saucer Draught Emporium 

If a pre- or post-game brewski is calling your name, then look no further than the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium on Main Street in Downtown Houston. This no-fuss bar and restaurant is known for its extensive beer selection and choice bar food bites. With a rotating list of new arrivals and tried and true fan favorites, Flying Saucer also features events throughout the week. Grab some tostada chips and queso, Saucer Wings, a pizza pie, chicken sandwich, beer battered fish and chips, or any other mouthwatering menu items and cheers with drafts in hand!

Xochi

Award-winning Chef Hugo Ortega and the H Town Restaurant Group are the minds and talents behind Xochi. The restaurant, which is located on the first floor of the Marriot Marquis Houston, celebrates the culinary and indigenous richness of Oaxaca, Mexico. Rodeo Goat

Rodeo Goat in Eado is a one-stop-shop for burgers, beers, and cocktails. The spacious restaurant offers spacious indoor and outdoor seating and serves up some of the best burgers in town. Show your H-Town pride with the “Marvin Zindler,” an homage to the beloved local news reporter, which includes applewood smoked bacon, beefsteak tomato, jalapeños, shredded lettuce, fried onion, cheddar, pickle chutney, Texas BBQ sauce. There are 20+ burgers to choose from and a great selection of beer, wine and specialty cocktails for your drinking pleasure. Rodeo Goat is less than a half-mile walk to Daikin Park.

District 7 Grill EaDo

District 7 Grill EaDo is the laid back bar-restaurant east of Downtown that has offered zesty food and zesty life for over 20 years. Located at 1508 Hutchins Street, District 7 is open seven days a week with brunch served until 4pm daily. The menu featured upgraded American-style food including eggs benedict, short rib rubbers, pizzeria pizza, mahi mahi salad, and even center cut filet mignon. The spacious patio makes for a great space to gather in groups, large and small. Happy Hour runs from Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with deals on beers and bites, while the bar menu is stacked with specialty cocktails, beers on tap, and wine.

The Rig Restaurant & Bar

Cambria - The Rig

Located in the Cambria hotel, The Rig Restaurant & Bar offers delicious cuisine and cocktails that give customers a taste of the finer side of travel. Inspired by the thriving culinary scene in Downtown Houston, the full-service restaurant and bar serves freshly prepared snacks, apps, and entrées. Enjoy a craft beer from the city’s best breweries or a premium glass of wine. Located a few blocks away from Daikin Park, this is a perfect pre-game spot. 

Truck Yard

Truck Yard Houston is a seriously cool area that features live music, food trucks and unique brews on tap. Various food trucks rotate in and the schedule online is updated so you can check out the food that will be available that day. (They serve delicious Cheesesteaks on site.) It’s a cool stop if you are with a group that can’t decide what kind of food they want. With so much great variety, there's all kinds of cuisine to choose from. Truck Yard Houston is about a 10-minute walk from Daikin Park.

MKT Bar

This cozy, unique gastropub is located in the downstairs area of Phoenicia Specialty Foods in Downtown Houston. Artisan pizzas, steak nights, comfort brunches, and a bar featuring local brews, international wines, and cocktails all await at this spot that brings a worldly fusion of dishes to downtown dwellers. Pizzas, braised lamb tacos, salmon spinach salads, burgers, ceviche, wings, and so much more are all expertly made at MKT Bar. Stop in, check out the art installations, catch some live entertainment, and enjoy taking a trip around the world with every bite.
